the Flourishing
Self-Assessment
“I want to do with you what spring does with the cherry trees.”
— Pablo Neruda
Keep in mind, this is just a snapshot of right now.
You don’t have to have a perfect score.
Good enough, most of the time, is good enough.
If an area is low, how can you make changes so you might have a different answer next time?
What does it look like for me to bloom?
We weren’t born with instruction manuals. Given enough time, though, we have figured out quite a bit about the way we work best. In one of our species’ great unassigned group projects, people across time and place have contributed to our understanding of well-being, happiness, and human flourishing. This quiz is my synthesis and interpretation of the work of scientists, researchers, philosophers, poets, and prophets who have dared to explore: What are we like at our best, our fullest, our most beautiful?
